Jackson woman arrested in Indiana after car chase

JACKSON, Tenn. — Officers in Indiana made an arrest Monday night of a woman originally from Jackson. Knox County sheriff’s reports say Gwenevere Estes was pulled over on U.S. 41 going north when officials say she took off again. Officers had to use spike strips to bring the chase to an end. That’s when Estes reportedly had to be apprehended with a Taser and pulled out of the car after resisting officers. She is being held at the Knox County Jail on charges of resisting arrest, driving under the influence and possession of marijuana.
