Public forums continue for school system’s ‘Vision 2020’ plans
JACKSON, Tenn. — More meetings mean more focus on the Jackson-Madison County School System’s “Vision 2020” initiative. Three restructuring plans were brought up at Monday night’s board meeting and were on display again Tuesday. Each plan would close at least four schools, though planners have said as many as seven schools could close their doors. School officials are open to community feedback on the plans. In case you missed Monday night’s meeting, there are five more over the next two days that will go over the same plans.
