Man jailed following traffic stop
JACKSON, Tenn. — A Tuesday evening traffic stop lands a man in jail. Jackson police said around 6:15 p.m. they tried to stop a man for not wearing his seat belt. Instead of pulling over, the driver then led officers on a short chase before losing control in a local church’s parking lot near the intersection of Whitehall and Lane. The driver is charged with violation of probation and several driving charges.
