Woman charged with stealing from bank where she worked

DOWNTOWN JACKSON — A woman was in Jackson City Court Friday on charges of stealing from a bank where she worked. Gayna Anderson is accused of embezzling more than $1,000 from Fort Seals National Bank where she was an employee. An employee reported the alleged theft April 28. Anderson allegedly admitted to the theft to police. She faces an embezzlement charge. Her bond is set at $5,000.
