Man in custody after Union University security scare

NORTH JACKSON — A man is in custody after police responded Monday afternoon to a security scare on the campus of Union University. Security officials at the school notified Jackson police of a man on campus reportedly asking for someone to look at dinosaur eggs, according to the Jackson Police Department. Terry Graves was taken into custody around 3:30 p.m. on criminal trespassing charges, according to police. No weapons were found in the incident, police said. Officers confirmed there had been similar complaints in the area. The case is still under investigation.
