Tennessee Reconnect exceeds enrollment expectations
MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — It looks like even more Tennesseans than expected want to reconnect. The Tennessee Reconnect program allows adults to go to technical college for free. So far, more than 10,700 people have applied, exceeding initial estimates by more than 2,000. The grant offers training at a Tennessee College of Applied Technology like the one in west Madison County. This center couldn’t yet confirm its number of applicants. The grant pays for tuition and fees.
