Police: Drugs found in man’s apartment
JACKSON, Tenn.-Court papers indicate a Jackson man was found with drugs Tuesday night. Thursday morning, Calvin Askew appeared in Jackson city court. Serving a search warrant on Old Hickory Boulevard, investigators with Metro Narcotics reportedly found 1 and a half grams of marijuana, pieces of plastic with what later tested positive as cocaine on it, along with a marijuana pipe. Askew is being held on $6,000 bond.
