Woman accused of shooting into car makes court appearance

JACKSON, Tenn. — A woman who faces charges after police say she shot into a car with her boyfriend and another woman inside was in Jackson City Court Friday. Court papers say Charity Smith was angry because the woman was with him. Smith is charged with five separate counts including aggravated assault and vandalism. She currently is free on a $75,000 bond.
