Veterans honored at Hollywood Cemetery
JACKSON, Tenn. — Veterans and community members gathered Sunday at one of Jackson’s oldest cemeteries to honor hundreds of fallen soldiers. For the 18th year, the historic Hollywood Cemetery honored the fallen heroes buried there. The color guard from the local VFW posts placed the memorial wreath and lowered the flag to half staff prior to playing taps. Navy veterans said they hope more people take time to say thank you to those who serve.
