Murder suspect arrested in W.Va. to be extradited to Tenn.

DECATUR COUNTY, Tenn. — A man facing a murder charge in his wife’s death after allegedly running her over in Decatur County soon will be extradited back to Tennessee. Chad Henry recently was arrested in Bridgeport, W.Va., after being indicted by a grand jury in Decatur County. Deputies say he was working in the nearby state. He has to be back in Tennessee by June 1 and will be extradited within the next three days, according to Decatur County Sheriff Keith Byrd. Henry allegedly ran over his wife with his truck on Christmas Day. She was taken to a hospital and later died on New Year’s Day, deputies have said. He is charged with first-degree murder, aggravated assault and DUI.
