JOB FAIRS PLANNED IN SOUTH FULTON, UNION CITY FOR EIGHT
Seven-Employer Event Tuesday; MVP Group to Meet with Job-Seekers Thursday
(West Tenn.) — Goodwill Career Solutions will host two job fairs featuring eight employers in northwest Tennessee this week.
On Tuesday, June 2, at least seven employers will seek to fill more than 45 jobs from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. during a job fair in the Harvey O. Vick Room of South Fulton City Hall, 700 Milton Counce Road.
Participating employers include Haws Memorial Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Lowe’s Home Improvement, A Place Called Home, Job World, Manpower, Hamilton-Ryker and Waymatic. Pay rates range from $7.25-$14 per hour.
JOB FAIR FOR AT LEAST SEVEN EMPLOYERS
When: Tuesday, June 2
10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Where: South Fulton City Hall
700 Milton Counce Road
South Fulton, Tenn.
The Goodwill Career Solutions center at 1430 S. First St. in Union City will host a job fair from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on Thursday, June 4, for MVP Group, which has several positions to fill. MVP Group designs, manufactures and markets various candles and home fragrance products such as the Febreeze Home Collection. The company’s facility at 600 Sherwood Dr. has openings for forklift technician, unloader, stacker and wrapper, picker and packer and part-time sales in Union City. Rates of pay range from $7.25-$15 per hour.

9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Where: Goodwill Career Solutions
1430 S. First St.
Union City, Tenn.
Representatives from all of these companies will be on site and interviews are possible, so job-seekers should dress for success. Job candidates are encouraged to bring a resume, photo ID, Social Security card or birth certificate.
