Woman walks away from I-40 crash in Benton Co.

BENTON COUNTY, Tenn. — A woman walked away from a one-vehicle accident Monday along Interstate 40 with only minor injuries. Jessica Winter, 26, of Franklin, was traveling eastbound on the interstate around 1 p.m. when she lost control of the vehicle and rolled three or four times in the median, according to the Benton County Sheriff’s Office. Despite the damage to the vehicle, Winter walked away with only cuts and bruises, according to deputies. Officers say they did not have to close any lanes of traffic.
