Crews fight house fire in city of Gibson
GIBSON COUNTY, Tenn. — Crews are on the scene of a large house fire in the city of Gibson. About seven people lived in the duplex located on Highway 79, and all of them escaped safely, according to the homeowner. No injuries have been reported. The fire broke out just after 4 p.m., and a child who lived in one of the duplexes noticed the smoke and told his parents, according to the homeowner. The house is still engulfed in flames, and the homeowner expects the property to be a total loss. WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News will have more details as they become available.
