NORTH JACKSON — New playground equipment was unveiled Wednesday at Pugh Bourne Park. The Madison County Parks and Recreation Department partnered with the Conservation Board to replace the playground equipment. The previous playground equipment was around 30 years old and had never been replaced. The county commission approved the $60,000 it cost to make the improvements. The director says the new additions could help kids get in shape.
