Woman charged with selling dollar store items at discount
DOWNTOWN JACKSON — A woman went before a judge Wednesday in Jackson city court on allegations of selling items below price at the store where she worked. Shandrieka Mitchell is accused of selling merchandise at a discounted price from Dollar General on Old Hickory Boulevard, according to an affidavit. The store manager reported the sales to police, saying it had been going on since May 24 and had cost the store $519, the document states. Mitchell is charged with theft over $500. She is free on a $2,500 bond.
