Lexington Crime Stoppers now taking anonymous tips online
LEXINGTON, Tenn. — Crime Stoppers in Lexington now offers a way for people to submit anonymous tips online, according to police. Anyone with information can visit the city’s website, www.lexingtontn.gov, go to the “departments” section and then the “police section” and then click “Crime Stoppers,” according to the Lexington Police Department. From there, a Crime Stoppers form is available. Users can choose to enter their contact information in case an investigator has additional questions. The Crime Stoppers coordinator will receive the tips and pass the information along to the appropriate investigator. Tips also can be submitted by calling 731-968-TIPS (8477).
