GIBSON COUNTY, Tenn. — A traffic stop in Bradford led deputies to alleged ice methamphetamine and landed three men in jail. Daniel Coleman, 19, Jacob Gammons, 19, and Michael Gant, 44, all were arrested on drug counts Thursday following the search of a pickup truck. Deputies pulled the truck over Thursday on Davis Grove Road for seat belt violations, according to a release from the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office. A K-9 alerted officers of possible drugs in the vehicle, and a search of the truck led deputies to several small baggies of suspected ice methamphetamine, digital scales, glass pipes used for the inhalation of methamphetamine and a small amount of marijuana, according to the release. While attempting to arrest the men, Gant attempted to flee on foot and was taken into custody a short time later, the release states. The three men each face multiple drug possession charges, and Gant faces an additional charge of resisting arrest. All three subjects are being held at the Gibson County Correctional Complex pending court hearings, according to the release.
