Miss Tennessee Scholarship Pageant takes over the Hub City

JACKSON, Tenn. — After they checked into their hotels, Miss Tennessee contestants made their way to the Old Hickory Mall in Jackson to be introduced for the first time. Contestants walked across the stage to meet fans and later were seated to sign autographs and take pictures. The 2014 Miss Tennessee Hayley Lewis watched the new generation walk. “Stay true to who you are, because we will spend years of trying to be something that we’re not, and honestly the best skin that we fit in is our own,” Lewis said. A new Miss Tennessee will be crowned Saturday to replace Lewis.
