DOWNTOWN JACKSON — A woman appeared Monday in city court on accusations of stealing from a Jackson store while disguised as an employee. Stephanie Rogers is accused of stealing more than $600 worth of items from Walmart in north Jackson on Friday while disguised as a store employee, according to an affidavit. Court papers say a loss prevention employee watched her put 22 items in a shopping cart before leaving the store without paying. Rogers is charged with theft of property over $500. She is being held in lieu of a $20,000 bond.
