Bicyclist airlifted after being hit by truck in Crockett Co.
CROCKETT COUNTY, Tenn. — A bicyclist has been airlifted to a Memphis hospital Tuesday after being hit by a pickup truck. Sandra Woodruff, 52, of Alamo was airlifted to Regional One in Memphis after being struck by a pickup truck, according to a Tennessee Highway Patrol report. She was wearing a helmet, according to the report. She was traveling east on North Cavalier Road around 6:30 a.m. when the driver of a Ford F-150 also traveling east took his eyes off the road and struck her, the report states. There are no further details about Woodruff’s condition available at this time.
