Woman accused of stabbing man during argument

UNION CITY, Tenn. — A woman faces an aggravated assault charge after allegedly stabbing a man during an altercation. A man told Union City police he and Nicola Noonan, 37, were having an argument Saturday when she spat in his face, according to a report from the Union City Police Department. The man told officers he then pushed Noonan down into a chair. Noonan then allegedly pulled a knife from her pocket and stabbed the man multiple times, according to the report. Police say they saw several puncture wounds on the man’s arm and back.
