DOWNTOWN JACKSON — Three people appeared Tuesday in city court on accusations of entering a Jackson fast food restaurant and assaulting an employee during a busy lunch hour. Cedarious Booth, Orlandas Landers and Tacarra Turner are accused of coming from Humboldt to Long John Silver’s on Stonebrook Place to fight a woman who worked at the restaurant, according to an affidavit. Police say a woman called the employee to tell her she was angry with her and that her “crew” was coming to “take care of her,” the document states. That’s when police say Booth, Landers and Turner came to the restaurant and yelled and cursed at the victim, trying to get her to come outside. When the woman wouldn’t leave the restaurant, the three then came inside, went around the counter and assaulted her, knocking her down and each of them hitting her several times, according to the affidavit. Booth, Landers and Turner all are charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct. Each has been issued a $2,500 bond.
