City still repairing hole in Jackson roadway

JACKSON, Tenn. — Crews with the city continue to repair a hole in a busy street near downtown. WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News reported on the South Royal Street closure and repairs earlier this month, and the street department said Tuesday they still don’t know when the repairs will be finished or how much they will cost. The damage resulted from a collapsed pipe that created a hole in the middle of the road, city officials have said.
