Man cited after mailbox damages in north Jackson

NORTH JACKSON — Police have cited a man in the damages of several mailboxes that seem to have been caused by a hit-and-run in a north Jackson neighborhood. Police say seven or eight mailboxes were damaged along Walker Road. The man has been cited in lieu of his arrest for leaving the scene of an accident and no proof of insurance, according to police.
