Tenn. among states that offer Confederate flag design on license plates

JACKSON, Tenn. — Amid the controversy surrounding the Confederate flag, several states still offer custom license plates featuring the design — including the Volunteer State. Tennessee has sold 254 Sons of Confederate Veterans plates so far this year. Proceeds from sales of the plates benefit the Tennessee Division of Sons of Confederate Veterans.
