Crockett Co. Sheriff’s Dept. to hold seized vehicle sale

CROCKETT COUNTY, Tenn. — The sheriff’s office in Crockett County will hold a seized vehicle sale Friday. The sale begins at 1 p.m., and the vehicles may be viewed starting at 8 a.m. behind the sheriff’s office. The vehicles were seized during crimes. Proceeds from those seized in drug-related activity will benefit drug enforcement funds and police supplies. DUI vehicle funds will go to the state and the department’s general fund. Here is a list of the vehicles, provided by the department: 2001 Chevy Silverado EXT Cab (Runs well and used every day) 2000 Chevy Silverado (Runs well) 1992 GMC Jimmy 4 door 2WD (Runs but rough) 2000 Ford 150 single cab 2WD (Needs fuel pump) 1994 Ford Econoline Van 2WD (Rough but runs and drives) 1986 Mazda single cab B2000 2WD (Runs well but needs back glass) 1989 Buick 4 door Park Avenue (poor condition but will start) 2002 Ford Taurus TSE 4 door (Rough but runs well) 1998 GMC Suburban 1500 4WD (needs a back glass and leaking diesel badly, 4wd does not work)
