Officers search for escaped inmate in north Jackson
NORTH JACKSON — Officers are searching for an escaped Lawrence County inmate near Exit 85 off I-40 in north Jackson. Authorities say Jason Kirk, a Lawrence County inmate being held by Chester County, walked off work detail before noon Monday and left in a black vehicle.
