JACKSON, Tenn. — The Tennessee Valley Authority wants to know what you’ve been up to this summer. Officials hope this holiday weekend will be the chance many take to enter their TVA summer photo contest. While vacationing, West Tennesseans are asked to take a picture at the lake or local park, then upload it to Instagram or Facebook with the caption #TVAsummer. Contest judges hope it will preserve a snapshot of their customers’ summer. “So don’t think of it as going and trying to win a contest. Think of it as just sharing with your friends what you’re doing out on the lakes and rivers this summer,” said TVA spokesman Chris Stanley. Three winners, who could win either a GoPro camera or a Fitbit Super Watch, will be picked after Labor Day. Photographers have until then to enter their submissions.
