Firefighters Freedom Festival a big success

MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — Thousands were in Madison County Saturday night celebrating out country’s birthday with live music and of course a spectacular fireworks show. Despite the threat of rain, the field at McKellar-Sipes Regional Airport was packed full with families from all over West Tennessee for the Madison County Fire Department’s Firefighters Freedom Festival. The rain did hold off for one spectacular show as fireworks lit up the sky across west Madison County. Families and people of all ages were out ready to celebrate our independence in this free event. Live music, plenty of food and of course those fireworks were the highlights of the night.
