DYER, Tenn. — A portion of Main Street is shut down in downtown Dyer after the roof of a vacant building collapsed Monday. No one was inside the vacant building at 119 Main Street when the roof collapsed, according to Emergency Management Director Ricky Graves. The front of the building collapsed later Monday afternoon, and Main Street is shut down in the area as building inspectors work to determine whether the building may collapse even further.
