‘Knocking out Hunger’ event helps feed thousands in the area
JACKSON, Tenn. — One area organization teams up with the Regional Interfaith Association to help feed thousands of families here in the Hub City and West Tennessee. On Friday, the Modern Woodmen of America hosted the event called Knocking Out Hunger. Volunteers met at Union University’s Carl Grant Events Center to “knock out hunger” by packing thousands of meals to benefit RIFA. Organizers said these meals will help feed many families in the area who need it most.
