WEAKLEY COUNTY, Tenn. — Investigators from the Weakley County Sheriff’s Department have arrested two people on separate, unrelated drug counts. Officers executed a search warrant on the home of Julian Rodriguez, 39. During the search, deputies say they found close to 6 ounces of crystal methamphetamine along with digital scales and 12 grams of marijuana. Investigators said they also recovered two semi-automatic pistols, one of which was reported stolen in Toledo, Ohio. Investigators seized $4,300 in cash along with a 2002 BMW 325i and other electronic items believed to have been purchased with profits from the sale of methamphetamine. Rodriguez is being charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to resell, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of the stolen firearm. He is being held without bond at this time. In an unrelated case, investigators have charged Kayla Copeland, 27, of Martin with possession of methamphetamine with intent to resell and possession of marijuana following a traffic stop by deputies.
