Police: Woman arrested after stealing snacks from office building

JACKSON, Tenn. — Police arrested a woman Saturday after allegedly finding her in the front lobby of a business eating snacks she didn’t pay for. Marie Antoinette Querry was in the lobby of the West Tennessee Healthcare building located at 1804 Highway 45 Bypass with food and her personal bags on the coffee table, according to an affidavit. Querry had opened bags of chips, granola bars and a bottle of water without paying for them, the document states. The business was closed for the weekend, and she told officers she had entered the building through an unlocked door at the rear of the building. She did not have consent to be in the building, the document states. Querry is charged with burglary. Her bond is set at $5,000.
