Deputies arrest man wanted in Weakley Co. burglary

WEAKLEY COUNTY, Tenn. — A Martin man deputies say broke into a home and stole about $4,000 worth of cash, jewelry and medications has been arrested, according to the sheriff’s office. Christopher Lane, 25, was arrested Thursday at a Martin hotel, according to the Weakley County Sheriff’s Department. Lane is accused of breaking into the Old Troy Road residence of an 83-year-old woman July 21 and stealing her property. Investigators recovered some of the property at a residence where Lane was staying, according to the sheriff’s department. Deputies issued warrants for Lane on charges of aggravated burglary and theft over $1,000.
