Humboldt police seek 2 in armed robbery

HUMBOLDT, Tenn. — Police are searching for two men who allegedly robbed someone at gunpoint as he tried to sell them a dog. Officers responded Tuesday to a country road at the edge of town where a man told them he was trying to sell two men a dog, according to a release from the Humboldt Police Department. The victim told officers the men drove him to a secluded location where they pulled a gun on him and robbed him. The men were in a blue, newer model Ford F-150 Crew Cab truck, according to the release. The driver is described as a black male with dark skin, around six feet two inches tall and weighing about 160 pounds, according to police. The passenger is described as a black male, around five feet seven inches tall and weighing about 215 pounds.
