Police investigate shooting in midtown Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn. — A shooting in midtown Jackson injures two people, according to police. Officers say it happened just after 8 p.m. Wednesday at a residential building at 1225 North Highland Avenue.

Police say two victims went to Jackson-Madison County General Hospital with non-life threatening gunshot wounds.

Investigators did not release suspect descriptions.
