JACKSON, Tenn. — A renowned local musician has reportedly died unexpectedly. Friends tell us noted musician Chuck McGill died overnight Wednesday. McGill played with a number of local musicians and groups, most notably his wife’s band, Paula Bridges and the Bandstand Revue. The Bandstand was McGill’s music store located in Jackson. Friends say the loss they feel is indescribable. “He was never about himself. You never heard him patting himself on the back or trying to get attention,” friend Wes Henley said. “He was always about supporting somebody else and holding them up.” No cause of death has been made public, nor have any funeral arrangements.
