Trial begins for local lawyer accused of destroying evidence

MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — Local lawyer Edythe Christie’s trial began Wednesday in Madison County. Christie is charged with deleting evidence that linked her son, John Christie, to the death of his wife in September of 2014. Her trial is set to resume Thursday.
