Man airlifted to Vanderbilt after Benton Co. crash

BENTON COUNTY, Tenn. — A man has been airlifted to Vanderbilt and a woman transported to a local hospital after a crash just east of Camden. Officers say both have injuries that are not life-threatening. The two-vehicle wreck happened when a car and truck side-swiped each other near the intersection of Highway 70 and the 70 Bypass, according to the Benton County Sheriff’s Office. The man was reportedly driving a Ford F-150 pickup truck and the woman a Buick sedan.
