JACKSON, Tenn. — More than 500 people gathered Friday night at the Jackson AMP to celebrate the end of Love Week, hosted by SoulQuest Church. Love Week, Aug. 24 to 28, has been an effort by members of SoulQuest Church to reach out and serve Jackson by assisting RIFA, The Star Center, Habitat for Humanity and Area Relief Ministries with activities and events they do all the time. Friday night’s block party consisted of free food, music and a fun center for kids. Sponsors and the community were able to donate to RIFA Friday night, raising almost $500. “During the week, we had people take off work and working here or there, so it was a fantastic week and as a senior pastor, lead pastor, it just thrills my heart to see our people really getting involved and serving others,” Pastor Ronnie Coleman of SoulQuest Church said. The volunteers logged more than 200 community service hours throughout Love Week.
