Man accused of shooting at man, threatening to kill him

JACKSON, Tenn. — Jackson police have arrested a man accused of making threats to kill another man. The victim told officers Richard Darnell Lyons started yelling at him on East Main Street, then drew a handgun and fired at him. Lyons was convicted in a robbery case in 2003, in which he was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm. He is now facing charges of aggravated assault and is being held in lieu of a $50,000 bond.
