GIBSON COUNTY, Tenn. — TCAP scores in the Bradford Special School District have them ranked 5th best in the Volunteer State. School officials say this isn’t the first time they’ve been ranked in the top ten in test scores. The superintendent says great results on tests speak to the hard work of both students and teachers. “I think it says that each one of our teachers have a very high expectations for their students,” Superintendent Dan Black said. “They come and work hard every day. They expect the best out of them, they expect the best out of themselves, and I think we see the results of all that.” The school system has just more than 500 students between their elementary, middle and high schools.
