Henderson police arrest man twice on domestic assault charges

CHESTER COUNTY, Tenn. — Henderson police recently arrested a man twice on domestic assault charges stemming from incidents that occurred two days in a row. Lucas Stone is accused of assaulting his girlfriend’s mother during a confrontation Monday when she tried to get him to leave her White Avenue home, according to a release from the Henderson Police Department. The woman, Regina Charles, also was charged with domestic assault for allegedly pushing Stone, according to police. Both were arrested and taken to the Chester County Criminal Justice Complex. The following day, police responded to the same address after Stone’s girlfriend called about Stone, telling police he had stopped by the home and gotten into an argument with her when she wouldn’t let him stay, according to the release. She said Stone took the SIM card from her phone and then struck her in the eye and pushed her down when she tried to get it back, causing her to hit her head on the concrete. The woman was three or four months pregnant at the time and was transported to Jackson-Madison County General Hospital to be examined, according to police. Jackson police contacted Henderson police just before 1:30 a.m. Wednesday to tell them Stone had shown up at the hospital. He was taken to the county line and again taken to jail on domestic assault, domestic vandalism and theft charges.
