Deaton elected as Madison Co. Commission chair

MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — Gary Deaton was unanimously elected to serve as chairperson over the Madison County Commission at their Monday meeting. Deaton’s appointment comes after serving as chairperson since June after the former chair, Mark Johnstone, resigned from the commission. Deaton was elected to a one-year term.
