HENDERSON, Tenn. – Chester County’s football team learned some difficult news on Wednesday. Senior quarterback Bo Morris will be out for 30 days due to mononucleosis. “He is absolutely devastated,” Morris’ dad Andy said. “It’s one of those things that he says — I’m playing, I’m playing, not knowing how intense it is. It involves your spline and liver.” “It’s very unfortunate because we’re entering into a major part of our season. They’re saying 30 days.” Morris is unsure how he got mono, and is upset about letting his team down. “Our plan is to have him rechecked in two weeks, especially if he’s feel better,” Morris’ dad said. “Right now, he’s so exhausted. He can’t do nothing right now.” The 3-1 Eagles’ next four opponents are region foes Lexington, Dyer Co., Crockett Co. and Hardin Co.
