JACKSON, Tenn.– One local beauty store is gearing up early for Breast Cancer Awareness Month with some glitter and a lot of love. Ulta Beauty held a Princess Makeover Day, accepting donations for Breast Cancer Awareness. For one employee she said events like this give her a deeper purpose at work, especially after helping her mom fight breast cancer. “I feel like it’s a great thing because it has touched my life personally and everybody in here has a story with breast cancer. Everybody in here can connect to it in some way, and we’re all women too, so it just feels like a greater purpose,” Michelle Lee said. Ulta will also be hosting a company-wide fundraiser on October 11th for the annual Cut-A-Thon from 11 AM until 6PM. All donations will be given to Breast Cancer Awareness in exchange for a free haircut and shampoo or skin treatment.
