HARDIN COUNTY, Tenn. — Health officials will be hosting a “Drive-thru Flu Clinic” Thursday in Savannah. The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the parking lot of the Savannah Church of Christ, across from the high school on Pickwick Road, according to the Hardin County Fire Department. The clinic offers a convenient way to get a flu shot. Those who come to get a shot will fill out paper work at one stop, get their information checked at the next and then get their shot at the third. They then will be asked to pull into a parking space and wait 15-20 minutes to ensure no allergic reaction occurs, as with all shots. The Hardin County and state health departments, Hardin County EMA along with local and state partners will be sponsoring the clinic.
