Man accused of assault with metal pipe
JACKSON, Tenn. — A man was in city court Friday on accusations of hitting a man with a metal pipe. Cortney Boyland is accused of assaulting the man in June. Court documents say Boyland hit the victim multiple times after the two got into a verbal altercation about using the victim’s cell phone. Boyland is charged with aggravated assault and has been released after posting a $5,000 bond.
