THP’s ‘Tenny C. Bear’ visits with Headstart students

HUMBOLDT, Tenn. — Area Headstart students got a special visit Monday from some Tennessee state troopers. Students at Humboldt Headstart visited with the Tennessee Highway Patrol’s Tenny C. Bear. Troopers spoke to the children about general safety, car seats and boosters, what the THP does and how they are there to help and how to use them for emergencies. Tenny C. Bear handed out coloring books about safety and how to call 911.
