Search continues for car after I-40 hit-and-run

JACKSON, Tenn. — Authorities say they are still looking for the driver of a car that hit a construction worker Monday on a busy Jackson interstate and didn’t stop. Police say just after 3 p.m. an employee of a construction company who was working at mile marker 85 on Interstate 40 was hit by a car. Tennessee Highway Patrol officials say the victim suffered a broken leg and other injuries. Investigators are looking for the driver of a two-tone, gray, older-model Cadillac.
